Taj is a story of love which really resonated with me.
Post-pandemic I’ve been on this journey to dig deeper within myself as well as learn to love the world that we live in. One way I’ve done this is to seek travel much more than I’ve done in the past – see new places, experience new things as often as I can. Saira means traveller because this is who I aspire to be right now. I also wanted to focus on the Renaissance woman who is bold, loves herself first, loves others, is in love with the world and does what her heart desires.
The colours used in the costume are meant to create the essence of all these pieces coming together to create a 2025 Taj.
