In 2026, we don’t just celebrate mas…we tell a tale. This isn’t just any circus. This is a living, breathing community of legends, a vibrant cast of Trinidad and Tobago’s traditional Carnival characters, reborn under the tent and in the spotlight.

At the helm? None other than the fierce and flamboyant Midnight Robber, our ringleader, our storyteller, our keeper of truth and myth.

He leads a troupe unlike any other: misfits, rebels, visionaries, each with a past. Each act in this Island Circus peels back a layer, revealing how they got here, what they’ve lost, and what they’ve found: solace, purpose, and family in the heart of Carnival.

As they dance, tumble, and tease in the ring, we cheer. But look closer…they’re not just performing for us. They are mirroring us…and we, them. This is not just spectacle, it’s reflection. It’s mas with meaning. The designs are bold reinterpretations – Carnival characters reimagined as circus performers, each one a parody, an ode, a remix of our rich folklore.
