The Story

On his second perilous expedition, Sinbad the Sailor finds himself accidentally abandoned by his crew on a seemingly deserted, mountainous island. Exploring the terrain, he descends into a deep, vast valley completely cut off from the rest of the world. Here, he discovers a terrifying truth: the valley floor is carpeted with colossal, monstrous snakes. These gigantic serpents are large enough to swallow entire elephants whole in a single gulp. To survive, they must hide in deep caves during the blistering daylight hours to escape their mortal enemy, the giant Roc bird, emerging only under the cover of night to rule the valley. The snake is the undisputed sovereign of this treacherous domain, embodying danger, lethal grace, and the untamed terrors of the unknown.



I was inspired by the story of Sinbad and the Valley of Gems. The story taught me that in order to reap the fruits of your labour – the gems – there will be challenges you will have to encounter – the snakes – but the true excitement is in the journey to obtain them.

Masquerader Stories

I love playing Mas and for me, my costume must be representative of an interpretation of some theme or concept.

I have always been wowed at how LT designers adapt the theme into their designs and their use of sustainable materials.
